certa robbba travels fast on 2.0

morgenstern reblogged this from superfuffa and added:
  1. Reblog with your fav quote! superfuffa: byronic: tobwaylan: It’s in Belgium. It’s a fucking fairytale town. …If I grew up on a farm, and was retarded, Bruges might impress me but I didn’t, so it doesn’t. …What are they going to have? A medieval fucking bowling alley? I do want the guy dead, I want him fucking crucified but it don’t change the fact that he stitched you up like a blind little gay boy, does it?

    Reblog with your fav quote!

@TobWaylan A great day this has turned out to be.I'm suicidal,me mate tries to kill me,me gun gets nicked & we're still in fookin' Bruges!

@eazye_zeleste "You fucking retract that bit about my c*nt fucking kids!" (I love it when Ralph Fiennes swears fucking hard)
@TobWaylan te sei un mito, sei

TobWaylan
@byronic ahah, grazie. In Bruges scatena quotaggi compulsivi non indifferenti! E comunque, That's for John Lennon, you Yankee fuckin' cunt!
Io
destroying the phone, his wife approach him,"Harry. Harry! It's a inanimate fucking object!" Harry "You're an inanimate fuckin' object!"
TobWaylan
@eazye_zeleste Maybe that's what hell is, the entire rest of eternity spent in fucking Bruges. E' da quotare tutto, sto film.
e poi di nuovo su tumblr...
Maybe that’s what hell is, the entire rest of eternity spent in fucking Bruges.
In Bruges
ancora stamane Byron
@TobWaylan "What's Belgium famous for? Chocolates and child abuse, and they only invented the chocolates to get to the kids." E buongiorno!.

sempre ieri Morgenstern ha postato questa citazione

  • "Writing is betraying the people you love to impress people you’ll never meet."
    —Chris McQuarrie
    • There goes my precious personal relationship with The Way Of The Gun, I guess.

    Case in point.

    - Pretty much everyone I know dislikes it.

    - Released in Argentina as “El calor de las armas”, which doubles as the biggest unintentional hello, subtext in the title moment, ever.

    - I stole a major line from it, put it in the book I wrote, gave it a fairly prominent spot, and no one noticed. Huh.

    - Another contender was, “You know what I’m gonna tell God when I see him? I’m gonna tell him I was framed.”

    - Points for squeezing a queasy child molestation almost-flashback in the middle of a terse dialogue exchange between the two leads.

    - I seriously considered quoting that one line at the beginning of that one book, but backed out of it just cause I thought people would rile me up even more with the whole so you’re a girl action film buff, what’s your angle, sweetheart?. (Which they did. Totally. How annoying.) Plus, I wasn’t quite ready to come out as an unapologetic “blood + non-redemptive story arc” shipper. (Guess I am now.)

    - Ryan Phillippe as an actor of any substance? Really? Oh, ok.

    - As far as dramatic progression goes, a few shots here and there (such as the moment at the convenience store, see above) do not serve any purpose. At all.

    - What said shots do accomplish is a fabulous sense of mood. And, maybe, a very light counterpart to said “bullets + non-redemptive story arc” thing.

    - See also: levity.

    - I own the DVD, but seldom think about it.

    - Chris McQuarrie gets a lifetime pass from me just because of this one. Which doesn’t mean I’m going to Netflix Valkyrie anytime soon.

    - If he ever gets around to shooting his Stanford Prison Experiment script, however? I’m so there.

(And now excuse me as I go rewatch Donnie Darko’s first 30’ pretending the whole thing is a schizophrenia-induced hallucination. I just like it better like that.)

Vi gggiuro, visto che ho sottomano entrambi (il dvd di Way of the Gun E il libro di Violetta), mo’ passo il weekend a cercare la stolen line.
